I can't believe how fast the boys are growing up! Sure, they're only 4 1/2 months old, but that time has flown by and they are already so big! The other night we bought convertible car seats (because they were majorly on sale at Sam's) that they will use until they no longer need car/booster seats, and they looked like such big boys!
Then, the pediatrician agreed that they were ready for solid foods now (!) so they tried some yummy organic rice cereal today. Sure, they hardly swallowed any of it, but it's a start. Pretty soon they'll be smearing food all over the place and we'll be fondly remembering the days of bottles - but for now it's a huge milestone!
Below is the measurement data from the four month appointment - basically they are still tall and skinny! The good news is that they have both continued on the same growth curve - although we would like to see Asher catching up, at least he hasn't fallen behind. Hopefully he will really like solid food and will get as big as his little brother!
Asher - Length=25 inches (35th percentile); Weight=12.35 pounds (5th percentile)
Felix - Length=25.5 inches (60th percentile); Weight=13.45 pounds (10th percentile)
